Summer Camp Success

Summer camp is one of my fondest memories of childhood. I went to camp in the mountains of NC for years and just loved it. Yesterday I picked up my 8 year old from his first "sleep-away" camp experience at Camp Harrison. Camp Harrison is a YMCA camp and falls under the umbrella of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. The camp facilities are amazing (the camp is only 11 years old), and I found the staff to be incredible, too. I was super nervous about the week, but my big boy had a blast!! If you're looking for a camp for your kids that's not too far from home, I highly recommend checking out Camp Harrison as an option for 2016.
