Looking for a fun night out that benefits an amazing local organization? Mark your calendars for In the NIC of Time 2013. This event benefits the Cottie & Cake Fund.
From "Cottie & Cake":
"In 2011, the Hampton family set out to create a unique event to bring awareness to the miracles that take place every day in our own community. They wanted to use their story to ask the community to come together and support the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery at Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) and the Charlotte Fetal Care Center, both places where the Hampton family witnessed miracles.
2013 will be the 3rd annual “In the NIC of Time” event, which takes place each year near Kate and Scottie Hampton’s birthday. Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of donors and sponsors, over $125,000 has been raised to date. The proceeds from this event go into The Cottie & Cake Fund, which benefits neonatal care and prenatal research at the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery at Levine Children’s Hospital and the Charlotte Fetal Care Center, respectively."
This year's event is May 31st at 7pm at the Ritz-Carlton Urban Garden. You can buy your tickets HERE. Come on out and support this awesome organization.
