Cookies for Kids' Cancer 5K and Bake Sale - SATURDAY!

http://www.cookiesforkidscancer.racesonline.com/
Now this sounds like the PERFECT event to me...run (or walk) a 5K (or a 1 mile fun), then shop for sweets at a bake sale! Not only does the event sound like a grand time, but it raises money for a fantastic cause. Cookies for Kids' Cancer is amazing:

"Our mission:
Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is committed to raising funds to support research for new and improved therapies for pediatric cancer, the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 18. Through the concept of local bake sales, Cookies for Kids' Cancer provides the inspiration and support for individuals, communities, and businesses to help fight pediatric cancer."
Online registration for the race is open through this Wednesday, and you can also register the morning of the race in the Randolph Park neighborhood. Happy running (and eating sweets)!!
Blessings,
The Buzz
