November!

It's N.O.V.E.M.B.E.R...My twins turned 6 today. Thanksgiving is 25 days away, and Christmas is just 53 days away...Yikes! Halloween is gone...time to pack up the ghosts and goblins and bust out the turkeys. Crazy how fast the holiday season sneaks in during this phase of life. Remember to slow down and enjoy the small moments...those are the ones that really matter.

Blessings,
The Buzz

Happy Halloween Week!

It's Halloween week and that means LOTS of family fun happening all over town. Lots of opportunities to dress up and have a great time. Don't forget that the time changes this weekend...set those clocks BACK an hour before you go to bed Saturday night. Maybe the trick-or-treating and excitement of Halloween will wear the kids out enough to actually get that extra hour of sleep...one can always hope!

Blessings,
The Buzz

Holy Cabin Fever, Batman!!!

www.wsoctv.com
I don't know about you, but I am more than ready to get out of the house this week and get into some fun around Charlotte. Joaquin was definitely not as bad as forecast here in Charlotte, but it made for a LONG, rainy week and weekend, and LOTS of time at home. The weather looks to improve very soon...so thankful for that!

Thoughts and prayers are with those in Columbia and other places in South Carolina affected by the horrible flooding. A local group of moms is collecting clothing and household items to take there later in the week. If you are interested in donating, please email me at queencitybuzz@gmail.com.

Head over to our Facebook Page this week to enter to win a $50 gift certificate to the October Charlotte Warehouse Sale happening October 14-19. Facebook giveaway will run October 5-12th...mark your calendar for this sale!

Blessings,
The Buzz

October!

October arrives on Thursday...that just blows my mind. I cannot believe that we are into the "holiday season" (if you count Halloween and Thanksgiving) already. Time to get the costumes ready (and hope they don't change their minds), and gear up for the craziness that surrounds it all. Lots of fun "fall" events happening this week in Charlotte...get out and have some fun with the family!

Blessings,
The Buzz
